The contest is over, but the videos live on.

Say No to Big Money and People For the American Way — with the support of a broad coalition of organizations — spearheaded a video contest called the $64,000 Democracy For All Video Challenge. This contest challenged Americans to express their views in short videos portraying the social, economic and environmental implications of unchecked money in politics while connecting the dots to the need for a constitutional amendment. Each video contains a strong call-to-action as well: viewers are asked to go to the website,, and raise their voices by sending a message to Congress in support of the Democracy For All amendment.

The contest launched August 12, 2015 and ended December 2, with final round winners on February 2, 2016, and the grand prize winner announced on February 2, 2016 . You can watch all the winning videos here. (And contest rules are here.)
